Position Title: Machine Operator - 1st/2nd Shift

Wage: $15/hour, $16/hour + Weekly attendance bonuses

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 7am-3:30pm, 4pm-12:30am

Hit the brakes! We are looking for Machine Operators to help manufacture brake pedals for our client in Columbia, MO! We have multiple Machine Operator openings in Columbia, MO for this very light industrial position on 1st or 2nd shift. Potential to hire opportunity.

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform repetitive assembly-type operations on a variety of workstations, machine, and production lines producing various car parts
- Work on production line as a member of an assembly team
- Meet production and quality standards (individual and line)
- Rotate to different workstations or production lines on a regular basis
- Position component parts into assembly fixtures, loads, and unloads of previously set-up machines to perform various operations on assembly line
- Perform equipment hacks, including poke yokes, prior to the operation of machines on production line
- Verify parts supplied to line are correct prior to beginning the assembly process
- Verify correct fixture set up prior to beginning assembly process
- Load parts and fixtures into spot welding machine
- Make required visual inspections (gauges and fixtures) in conjunction with quality check designed for each operation
- Utilize written or verbal job instructions to accomplish assembly operations of varying degrees of complexity
- Keep work are neat and orderly as to facilitate efficient work performance while maintaining safe work environment
- Run QA Check machine on the line as requested

Machine Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods preferred
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 35lbs repetitively
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Stand for up to 12 hours daily
- Work with small hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and associated equipment
- Quickly move hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
- Team player
- Ability to rotate throughout production cells
