What Makes QPS Different?

Jan 13, 2017

A common complaint about the staffing industry is that all companies are the same; they only care about placing workers in an effort to generate the largest profit possible. While that may be true at some other agencies, here at QPS, we are making sure that our goal of creating a positive experience for all of our candidates is reached. We accomplish this by building strong relationships, providing career training and offering an assortment of career opportunities through our large client roster. In this blog post, we will look a little closer at those three responsibilities and what makes them so important to how we operate.

Relationships

As mentioned previously, the staffing industry is often seen as a “warm bodies in, warm bodies out” type of business and unfortunately there’s some truth to that. There are too many employment agencies that consider themselves to be little more than a “clearinghouse” for workers.

When we opened our doors over 30 years ago, we wanted to do things differently. We wanted to treat each candidate as an individual with unique hopes, needs and dreams and encourage them to feel like part of the QPS family, wherever their placement happened to be. As a result, we’ve been able to build and nurture long-term relationships with thousands of Associate Employees over the years.

Career Training

Every prospective employee brings their own set of skills, talents and experiences to QPS. We consider it part of our job to help them unlock the individual potential that lies within. To do this, we offer a broad range of training and development programs that improve existing skills and build new ones with the goal of providing the tools that will allow our Associate Employees to move to the next level.

It’s true that career growth can’t happen without hard work. But it’s equally true that it can’t happen without guidance and mentoring. If you’re willing to make an investment in your success, so are we.

Check out our Career Assistance page or “The Break Room” to get more career-based information ranging from job search tips to workplace best practices.

Client Roster

Our clients represent the entire spectrum of business in 21st century America, and range in size from small entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. The one thing they all have in common is their recognition that partnering with QPS can help strengthen their workforce.

With over 1,700 clients dealing in our four areas of expertise, there are a variety of options in the type of work that is available. And as our client roster continues to expand, so does the demand for capable and dedicated workers. If you’re looking for work, call or visit us at your nearest branch to set up the initial interview and start on the path to finding the right job for you.
