When you apply at QPS, you get in touch with one of our recruiters who will work with you to match you with a job that is right. After filling out an application and submitting it online, what can you do to prepare for the next step in the hiring process? Read below to find out three things to do after you apply.
A QPS recruiter will review your application and reach out to you. Expect a call if you left a phone number in your contact information. Over the phone, the QPS recruiter will complete a brief phone screen with you. Then a date and time will be scheduled where you can meet for an in-person interview.
Keep in mind that delays in the process may happen due to a few reasons. For example, your QPS application may be incomplete or you applied during the weekend. If you don't receive a call, you are welcome to contact QPS. You can find your nearest local office here.
Have your resume ready and bring it to the in-person interview with your QPS recruiter. Be ready to explain your work history, employment gaps, describe your skills and more. Having a resume ready for your interview can help speed up the interview and hiring process. To learn more about what to do at your QPS interview, click here.
We may not have an available job that matches your experience and preferences right away. In that case, you can continue to update your application with us weekly. This helps let us know that you are still looking for a job. Additionally, update your application if your work preferences have changed or you learned a new skill.
