QPS Employment Group has a temp to hire light assembly opportunity on 1st shift available for full time or part time in Schofield, WI. Seeking for Assemblers who are detail-orientated, has the ability to solve problems, and has great communication skills. Assemblers will be creating wire harnesses for electrical purposes. Weekly pay. Three-day weekend.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams, blueprints, process sheets and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence or assembly- Select cable of specified color, marking, or length, and assemble wires to construct a harness on a table or harness board, following color-codes or sequential numbers on board or blueprint - Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness-using tape - Apply terminals and splices to wires using pneumatic or hand tools; solder splices or terminals using solder pot, soldering iron, or resistance tweezers - Twist wires together using an electric drill and heat gun - Attach ends of wires to connectors, components, plugs, or terminal strip - Insert cable in plastic tubing or inject sealant or hot glue around terminals or connectors to protect cable from dust and moisture - Test wiring continuity and component values with a multi-meter and continuity tester - Mark identifying data on completed harness
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus- Ability to use basic hand tools- needle nose pliers, screwdriver, scissors- Must be able to lift and/or move 35 lbs. – 75 lbs. occasionally- Manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations - Must be able to stand entire shift - Must be able to use hands to handle or feel and reach - Ability to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally- Ability to be flexible to meet changing requirements
Position Title: Driver/Production Associate

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Pick up employee at designated pick up/drop off location- Complete and document mileages and riders- Perform a variety of production support duties to load, unload, prep, count and package material- Perform a variety of die running duties to die set up, break down, and die clean- Perform a variety of powder painting duties to blow off parts, apply powder paint, and perform color changes- Perform a variety of material handling duties to move, prep, count and package material safely and efficiently
Requirements:- Stable solid work history- Previous experience with small hand tools is beneficial - Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects - Previous experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane is preferredof 50 to 75 pounds occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, or 10 to 25 pounds constantly- Significant amount of walking, standing, bending, twisting, and pivoting- Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment- Ability to read and transpose numbers is required- Ability to work in a team or independently- Must be able to work overtime as needed- Must have valid driver’s license

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Mount pieces in the CNC and run the program- Check finished pieces to see that all dimensions match the print- Take the first part to QC department for approval to run the job- Load materials into the press line and remove materials at the end and stack properly - Load and run smaller parts - Check finished pieces to see that all dimensions match the print- Count and compare quantity and identification of units against customer orders; weigh and compile calculations used in bills of lading and customer invoicing- Receive, unpack, and examine goods and products, verifying completeness and accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; record quality of goods received; inspect, reject, and segregate damaged product for communication to shipper company, rectifying damages/shortages, and returns as required
Requirements:- Lift 10-75 lbs.- Occasionally reach, grip, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, twist, and/or bend- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours- Must be able to do repetitive motion work
