Position Title: Assembler

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Use job tickets and assembly drawings, build basic forms of electronic control products- Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly- Correctly record number of products tested or built on job tickets- Utilize the ERP system to input job ticket data- With guidance from upper level production assemblers, perform quality checks on products and parts to verify conformance to assembly drawings- Verify package quantity to ensure orders are complete- Attach part identification labels to parts
Requirements:- Production and manufacturing experience is a plus- Manufacturing job shop environment experience preferred- Ability to be flexible to meet changing requirements- Use of basic hand tools; needle nose pliers, screw driver- Lift 35lbs-50lbs occasionally- Alternate between sitting and standing throughout the shift- Manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations

QPS Employment Group has a light assembly opportunity on 1st shift available for full time Assemblers who are detail-orientated, have the ability to solve problems, and have great communication skills. Assemblers will be creating wire harnesses for electrical purposes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams, blueprints, process sheets and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence or assembly- Select cable of specified color, marking, or length, and assemble wires to construct a harness on a table or harness board, following color-codes or sequential numbers on board or blueprint - Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness-using tape - Apply terminals and splices to wires using pneumatic or hand tools; solder splices or terminals using solder pot, soldering iron, or resistance tweezers - Twist wires together using an electric drill and heat gun - Attach ends of wires to connectors, components, plugs, or terminal strip - Insert cable in plastic tubing or injects sealant or hot glue around terminals or connectors to protect cable from dust and moisture - Test wiring continuity and component values with a multi meter and continuity tester - Mark identifying data on completed harness
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus - Ability use of basic hand tools; needle nose pliers, screwdriver, scissors- Able to lift and/or move 35lbs-75lbs occasionally- Manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations - Able to stand entire shift - Able to use hands to handle or feel and reach - Ability to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally- Ability to be flexible to meet changing requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Handle glass pieces and rotate through various phases of tempering- Position glass vertically on carts and must be pulled and lifted onto waist level air table- Seamed and logo glass with an edge deletion machine- Send and monitored glass while glass being washed in the washer- Once tempered, the seamer/loader would apply lucor or cork buttons to the glass and then off load them onto A-frames, carts and skids- Operate overhead crane, to lift glass from/to cart and machine- Glass must first be wiped down with denatured alcohol to ensure cleanliness - Assemblers then apply vinyl to glass and align another piece of glass on top - Once assembled, excess vinyl must be trimmed from edges and overall quality and cleanliness of unit inspected- Alignment of all components must be precise at this stage to insure proper quality of finished product - Units are handled on a waist level horizontal roller table and would be pulled into and pushed out of work area
Requirements:- Previous shop floor or factory assembly experience - Physical strength and agility to perform a variety of lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling tasks- Physical strength and ability to lift an average of 50 to 70 lbs. on a regular basis- Able to communicate effectively with other workers, including coordinators and operators, on the line to ensure constant production- Ability to tolerate constant standing and walking as well as frequent reaching and bending at the waist- Communicate effectively with management as well as production employees- Able to work in a hot environment- Detail-oriented, as attention to quality of all components is critical- Able to work in loud and dusty environment including pollen

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assemble a variety of pieces correctly and completely to be shipped to clients- Remove products from container and stack them in the appropriate areas- Cut plastic wrap if needed to release single products- Work in a team to complete the unload in a safe and time effective manner- Unwrap and rewrap the packages and items- Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble pieces following the instructions of the travelers- Keep track of the item counts to ensure customer orders are completed correctly- Mark materials with identifying information as needed- Report any and all mechanical problems to lead person- Package and wrap each item according to the traveler- Use a tape measure to check measurements when needed- Sweep and clean the work area as needed- Complete visual inspections of the products
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED- Able to stand and walk on concrete for 100% of shift- Able to reach forward, grasp and use hands for 100% of shift- Able to twist, bend at the waist 100% of shift- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in using whole numbers- Able to read and understand work orders and verbal instruction- Ability to accurately and comfortably read measuring equipment
