Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Basic reading of blueprints and other engineering information - Assemble windows with proper instructions and use of tools- Learn assembly of company's standard systems - Learn and apply correct basic sealing techniques- Drill and attach hardware- Repetitively motion-drill, clean, apply sealants, and attach hardware and fasteners - Assemble final fit of the window- Physically inspect and verify all assembled window assemblies
Requirements:- Must be able to stand on feet for 10 hours plus reach, twist and bend intermittently- Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety boots with metatarsal guards and stand for extended periods of time - Must be able to do repetitive motions such as drilling, cleaning and application of fatteners- Ability to lift/move a maximum of 75 lbs. intermittently- Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region such as heat, humidity, etc.

QPS Employment Group has a temp to hire light assembly opportunity on 1st shift available for full time or part time in Schofield, WI. Seeking for Assemblers who are detail-orientated, has the ability to solve problems, and has great communication skills. Assemblers will be creating wire harnesses for electrical purposes. Weekly pay. Three-day weekend.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams, blueprints, process sheets and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence or assembly- Select cable of specified color, marking, or length, and assemble wires to construct a harness on a table or harness board, following color-codes or sequential numbers on board or blueprint - Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness-using tape - Apply terminals and splices to wires using pneumatic or hand tools; solder splices or terminals using solder pot, soldering iron, or resistance tweezers - Twist wires together using an electric drill and heat gun - Attach ends of wires to connectors, components, plugs, or terminal strip - Insert cable in plastic tubing or inject sealant or hot glue around terminals or connectors to protect cable from dust and moisture - Test wiring continuity and component values with a multi-meter and continuity tester - Mark identifying data on completed harness

We’re hiring for a Certified Welding Inspector in Schofield, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Consultation in (or Creation, review, development, and completion of) standards, specifications, techniques, processes, procedures, instructions, forms and other documents related to welding processes- Primary support expertise for the Operations team in the development and use of welding equipment and technology- Support Operations in the day-to-day verification and inspection of welded products and of welding processes to ensure ongoing compliance with all federal, state, and industry welding regulations- Support Engineering in the understanding of customer requirements relating to weld, and in the evaluation of usual, unusual or otherwise complex materials, heating requirements or other material science related to product performance and functionality- Support Engineering with Research and Development (R&D) projects where required- Assist in the creation of, or prepare, technical reports related to weld as required- Coordinate and perform the continued training and evaluation of all welders to ensure conformance with all related standards, and provide CWI or other American Welding Society (AWS) support and development as necessary to individuals or the business- Day-to-day support in the investigation of customer complaints when required
Requirements:- 6 years of minimum cumulative experience in similar or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment (e.g. CWI, Welder, Welding Technician, Weld Engineer, etc.).- 3 years of minimum cumulative experience in the working use of at least 3 different weld types and a working knowledge of NDT / NDE techniques; American Welding Society (AWS) – Certified - Welding Inspector (CWI)- Certified Welding Educator- Certified Process Analyst- Six Sigma (Yellow / Green belt)- Certified Reliability Engineer
