Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $13/hr., $13.50/hr.
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 6am-4:30pm, 2pm-Midnight
QPS Employment Group has a light assembly opportunity on 1st shift available for full time or part time. Seeking for Assemblers who are detail-orientated, who have the ability to solve problems, and who has great communication skills. Assemblers will be creating wire harnesses for electrical purposes. This is a temp to hire opportunity in Schofield, WI.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams, blue prints, process sheets and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence or assembly- Select cable of specified color, marking, or length, and assembles wires to construct a harness on a table or harness board, following color-codes or sequential numbers on board or blue print - Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness-using tape - Apply terminals and splices to wires using pneumatic or hand tools; solder splices or terminals using solder pot, soldering iron, or resistance tweezers - Twist wires together using an electric drill and heat gun - Attach ends of wires to connectors, components, plugs, or terminal strip - Insert cable in plastic tubing or injects sealant or hot glue around terminals or connectors to protect cable from dust and moisture - Test wiring continuity and component values with a multi meter and continuity tester - Mark identifying data on completed harness
Requirements:- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus- High school diploma or equivalent - Ability use of basic hand tools; needle nose pliers, screwdriver, scissors- Must be able to lift and/or move 35lbs-75lbs occasionally- Ability to manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations - Must be able to stand entire shift - Must be able to use hands to handle or feel and reach - Ability to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally- Ability to be flexible to meet changing requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Work safely work in all areas of the plant floor- Assemble windows with proper instructions and use of tools- Assemble final fit of the window- Physically inspect and verify all assembled window assemblies- Cut, replace, smooth and select glass for various projects - Safely mount the glass using suctions cups and secure the glass with putt, rubber gaskets or metal clips- Operate power tools (grinder, drills, and saws) and smaller tools that are used to cut the glass like glass-cutter and knives
Requirements:- Regular and predictable attendance- Ability to safely perform tasks, adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including critical Safety rules- Be able to learn basic blueprint reading and other Engineering information- Basic computer skills- Must be able to read/use a tape measure and calipers - Able to work a flexible starting schedule and/or overtime- Prior window manufacturing experience a plus

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Bowl Forming, Finishing, Roll Tray, Roll Tray-Double Die, Roll Converting - Catch and inspect bowls, sleeves, trays, and product coming off machine - Check for defects by pulling stacks of bowls, sleeves, product off machine, dropping stack on table; fan out the stack and tap- Check level of glue on carton throughout shift and inform glue machine operator of any problems - Assist glue machine operator in any way needed to keep machine running - Use catching wand to pull forward bowls - Pack product into case and tape completed box closed - Palletize as needed - Keep area and machine clean throughout the shift - Understand and adhere to all GMP, safety, food safety, HACCP and food defense procedures
Requirements:- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from ground occasionally - Must be able to lift 30 lbs. at waist height frequently - Must be able to reach and grasp - Must be able to twist and bend at waist - Squat down - Stand for 8-12 hours at a time

Position Title: Material Handler/Machine Operator
Hours: 10's 5:30am to 3:30pm M-TH
We're hiring for a Material Handler/Machine Operator in Stratford, WI. This is a temp to hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders- Build custom length and custom width pallets- Prepare finished stock and products for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous forklift and overhead crane - Experience in a manufacturing environment- Ability to read tape measures, depth gages, micrometers and other basic measurement tools- Work independently with minimal supervision- Ability to use an air nailer- Prolonged standing and walking, reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds- Basic computer skills/machine operation- Ability to work with and communicate well with others- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary
