Position Title: Machine Operator
Shift: 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Basic computer navigation skills required for data lookup and documenting daily activities to specific jobs using company software- Position and secure work pieces in fixtures or holding devices- Start automatic operation of NC machine to machine parts to specifications- Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments- Follow a manufacturing plan which includes: set up sheets, inspection guides, and applicable work instructions, not all inclusive- Confer with supervisor or Level 3 operators to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors, and obtain approval to continue production- Display organizational, as well as cleanliness skills to minimize the potential for human error oversights- Remove burrs from machined parts using a variety of hand and power tools- Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position

Position Title: Packaging Technician

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Tear off plastic from cheese cubes- Push cheese cubes onto line to go through slicer- Inspect cheese that is sliced for visual accuracy- Count accurately and read digital scales- Place weighed cheese on line for machine to plastic wrap and label it- Remove packaged cheese and place in box- Place filled box on a pallet- Use approved box cutters with retractable blades to open boxes/cut open cheese blocks provided by client- Participate/support the SQF program and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions- Understand all plant GMP's- Perform routine quality checks- Hold yourself and team members accountable- Make verbal reports to Section Leader and provide spoken information about a problem or issue
Requirements:- Must be able to work flexible hours; overtime and weekends as necessary- Learn plant floor plan- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for up to 9 hours- Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls for up to 9 hours- Ability to work in multiple areas of the plant and work in a cool environment (50-55 degrees)- Must be able to lift up to 24 pounds repeatedly, up to 100 pounds occasionally- Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus- Will work near moving mechanical parts- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals- Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments- Must be able to work independently with little supervision- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment- Willingness to grow with the organization- Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and be able to identify and solve problems- Must have excellent attendance- Food production experience is preferred

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Fill funnel with food product- Break apart food pieces so each piece is separate- Lay product in slots to be sliced by machine- Remove portions of food product not needed- Food is seasoned by machine, visually inspect food to make sure it is seasoned correctly- Pull out and dump any product that does not meet quality standard- Make boxes to package food- Food is wrapped in plastic by machine; put bagged food into box for shipping- Stack boxes for shipping on pallet- Perform assignments in accordance with established food safety and quality policies, including all USDA, FDA, and WDA guidelines, procedures and work instructions- Comply with work rules and standards set forth in the employee handbook- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites by the use of a squeegee, dust pan, shovel, and red barrels- Use of high and low pressure water nozzles for extended periods of time to, to adequately clean and sanitize- Set up and tear down of work areas (including floor mats, trays, buckets, and barrels)- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices at all times- Report all concerns about food quality and safety to his/her immediate supervisor
