Position Title: Embosser Operator
Wage: $14.00 per hour
This job isn't about just the cool title of Embosser Operator! You are applying to a company that has over 35 years of paper industry experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Slide bar through center of material roll and lifts it onto machine feed brackets. Threads material between rollers and tapes paper onto core. - Start machine and move controls to adjust speed, pressure of rollers, and tension of material. - Observe material as it passes through machine to prevent wrinkles and waste from damaged rollers.- Create rolls according to customer requests and prepares for shipping. - Assist other areas of plant during slow periods. Maintains housekeeping plant wide. - Adhere to all procedures pertaining to the steel and paper embossing rolls (cleaning/running). - Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. - Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read and understand blueprints, flat drawings, and specifications to accurately manufacture parts. - Manufacture sheet metal parts per specifications: set up, operate, and maintain manual and automated/computer controlled punch press, laser, break press, shear and iron worker. Requirements:- Hand/eye coordination. - Ability to recognize colors as well as see clearly at a distance and up close. - Stamina to work 10 to 12 hour shifts plus overtime. - Production environment is well lit, moderately heated, but not air conditioned. - Work assignments may be both indoors (primarily) and outdoors (occasionally) as required. - Dirt, dust, noise, fumes, and chemicals may be present in the work environment, appropriate safety precautions shall be taken. - High School diploma, GED or equivalent. - Knowledge and use of hand and power tools.- Mechanical assembly or service experience.
