Position Title: Machine Tech I
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 5am-3pm M-TH, 3:18pm-1:18am M-TH
We are hiring for 1st or 2nd shift Machine Technicians for our client in Deerfield. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Entry level shop floor assignments: assignments tend to be non – technical and requiring a relatively short period of time to train, but require continuous monitoring of progress, some machine operation- Load parts into lapping machines and grinding machines for sanding, washing, and polishing- Remove parts from machines for inspection- Inspect finished parts for quality and place in correct bin

Position Title: Materials Clerk

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Receive, put away, and turn in packing slips for all deliveries- Retrieve and stage materials for jobs, returns and/or service- Stage bill of materials for future jobs for movement to next assigned location, to include the Buy Out materials- Unload incoming materials inclusive of verification of quantities against the purchase order, packing slip and a detailed count of actual product for a 3-way match; all discrepancies to be identified i.e. quantity, type, color variation, part number, damage/quality, etc.- Turn in packing list and purchase order on all materials to be receipted same day as receipt- Move all materials on a timely basis to proper identified location- Keep materials/receiving area clean and orderly- Coordinate with suppliers to resolves discrepancies- Initiate purchase orders to maintain adequate inventory of all stock materials, shop supplies, tools, etc. on a daily basis
Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)- Ability to pass a forklift certification (prior forklift experience preferred)- Ability to work well and communicate clearly with others- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge- Familiarity with power tools and general construction concepts and the ability to read a tape measure- Detail oriented and accurate- Valid driver's license

Hours: M-TH 5:30am-4pm, M-TH 4:30pm-3am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate all types of tools essential and necessary to the job, including hammer, hand drill, and other hand tools- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning trailer components with solvents- Caulk all required trailer seams and joints- Position and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners- Assemble sub-assembling such as brake hoses, light boxes, axles, air brake systems, etc.- Perform measurement layouts per blueprints
Requirements:- Ability to work and communicate in a team environment- Must have basic math skills, especially fractions- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measures and company documents for area

Wage: $15.00 - $17.00/hour

Requirements:- Previous experience working in manufacturing- Able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch and reach throughout shift- Able to lift up to 50lbs
