Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle- Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints- Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area- Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair- Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory- Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals- Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Driver's license with acceptable MVR- Ability to lift 50lbs- Previous technician experience preferred
