Position Title: Assembly
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 10pm-6am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Conduct on-the-floor and bench type assembly; includes pre-assembly, sub assembly, and final assembly operations- Use robots and fixtures to finish parts for assembly- Use hand tools and other equipment for cutting, grinding, dipping, scraping, painting, routing, and slotting; use piece count scales with accuracy- Plan and organize assembly procedures- Conduct on-line and in-process quality control checks to meet or surpass quality requirements- Alert supervisor on low inventories- Maintain a clean and safe work area- Package parts and properly labels- May perform on-line assemblies in manufacturing as designated- Test assemblies as needed- Provide material handling support as required- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly- Extended sitting and standing operations- Excellent eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity- Combination of extended sitting and standing and walking- Exposure to various chemicals- Good mechanical aptitude preferred- Must be able to understand instructions in English- Must be a self-starter
Position Title: Blow Molder

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate blow molding machines, robotics, and other fixtures in a safe and efficient manner to meet quality assurance requirements and production standards- Remove parts from machines and operate secondary equipment for trimming and finishing purpose; ex, saw - Start up and shut down machine - Mix plastic and identify all raw materials used- Conduct basic quality control checks to ensure parts meet or surpass quality requirements - Maintain safe and clean work station - Make boxes, load cartons, properly label, and load skids
Requirements:- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 20 lbs. consistently - Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity - Combination of extended standing and walking - Variety of repetitive tasks include bending, twisting, stooping, turning wrist, and grasping parts - Good mechanical aptitude preferred - Must be able to understand instructions in English- Must be a self-starter - Must be able to withstand heat and noise levels
Position Title: Driver/Machine Operator
Hours: Mon-Fri, 11pm-7am
QPS is looking for a Driver for our RIDESHARE program. There are many benefits of being the driver. You can use the Van outside of work and also save money with gas. On top of that, you will be paid more to be our reliable driver.
This is a great temp to hire opportunity for a 3rd shift Driver and Machine Operator in a temperature controlled environment at our client in Sun Prairie, WI. You would transport employees to the job location and work with them together. Once the shift is over, you transport all employees back to the drop off spot and head home!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Driver- Transport employees to the job location- After shift, transport employees to drop off spotMachine Operator- Operate trim press, sand, drill, file, and/or knife castings as required- Minor troubleshooting and change or adjust machine tooling- Perform visual and dimensional quality checks using simple gauges and/or precision measuring devices and documenting activity (when applicable)- Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order- Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly

Position Title: Press Operator
Hours: Four 10 hour days (3:30pm-2:00am)

Requirements:- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent- Demonstrate organizational and attention to detail skills- Display strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English- Possess basic math and computer operation skills- Able to stand for long periods of time, bend, twist and lift/carry up to 20 pounds- Be dependable and work the agreed upon schedule- Reliable transportation- Press or label manufacturing experience preferred, not required as we will train- Associate/undergraduate degree or some college coursework- Understanding of or experience working in a Lean and/or Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) environment
