Position Title: Woodworker
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm or 2:00pm – 10:00pm

QPS is hiring for entry-level Woodworkers at a local lumber yard in Janesville, WI. This 1st or 2nd shift Woodworker position is temp to hire with the opportunity to grow within the company!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate label gun to tag each piece of lumber- Load pieces of cut lumber into crates- Band cut lumber into bundles- Drill screws into lumber to assemble picnic tables and benches- Operate a nail gun to assist in the assembly of fences- Operate a hand pallet jack to move pallets of wood around production area
Requirements:- Able to stand for duration of shift- Able to lift up to 50lbs- Able to twist, bend, stoop and squat throughout shift- Good hand-eye coordination
Position Title: Order Picker
Wage: $13.00 - $14.00/hour
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 6:00pm – 2:30am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Maintain communications with customers regarding open purchase orders/current ship dates/and shipment information- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries for quotations, construction, delivery, and updates - Manage new customer purchase orders, sales entry, and maintenance of orders- Purchase order verification- Create framework based on customer demand, raw material availability, production capacity to influence on-time delivery- Maintain customer schedules and provide feedback from operations- Maintain good customer relations through constructive collaborative interactions with potential customers both internationally and domestically- Coordinate scheduling, engineering, and shipping departments to assure the timely and accurate processing of all orders- Coordinate international logistics with Freight Forwarders
