Position Title: CNC Machine Operator
Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform all job duties in a safe manner (this includes wearing eye and hearing protection in designated areas).- Perform housekeeping duties such as keeping floor clear of debris (scraps, blobs, and excess flash), cleaning machines in accordance with Third Party regulations.- Start and stop equipment in a proper and safe manner.- Complete the Q.C procedures outlined for this position.- Properly clear equipment of bottles/boxes that have become jammed within the equipment.- Make all mechanical adjustments to all equipment.- Clean head tooling knife blades, and molds with the proper equipment and materials.- Makes complete machine changeovers without any set-up aids (set-up sheets, cartridges, or saved programs).- With direct supervision of Quality Control personnel help perform first piece quality checks (OFC, “T”, “E”, etc.) with the known bottle specifications, while completing the proper documentation to support findings.- Maintains proper paperwork, logs and records (work orders, machine problems, settings, and changes) as required.- Ensure that proper levels of materials (virgin and regrind) are being introduced to the equipment.- Troubleshoot equipment problems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics).- Helps grind all out of spec containers.- Ensure that regrind is properly packaged, identified, and stored for later usage.- May be asked to complete set-ups/changeovers as required on equipment.- Enter production quantities into the in-house computer inventory systems.- Assist co-workers where needed. Requirements:- High school graduate or equivalent GED, and a demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.- Must have standard/metric mechanical tool set.- Must complete 3-5 training classes, pertaining to job classification, within 90 days. These classes will be pre-arranged by organization.- Must have completed all organization Certification programs.- Requires constant visual attention; ability to discern flaws in containers.- Operator must have positive attendance points to continue cross training program.- Must know and be able to assist in the training of lower classification employees on the in-house computer inventory systems for production entries.- Know Quality Control Orientation Program.- Must have organization Forklift Certification. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Visually inspect bottles for defects and package bottles. - Make cartons for the packaging of the finished bottles or assist co-workers in making cartons. - Ensure glue or tape is applied properly to cartons. - Grind bottles that don't meet minimum quality standards. - Clear jams or downstream equipment, perform rework where needed. Requirements:- Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. - Must be able to lift up to 30-35 lbs. above head frequently, and 35-40 lbs. occasionally. - High School Diploma or GED required.- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language.

Position Title: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Responsible for the supervision of all production functions in the facilities, on designated shift.- Can volunteer and/or be assigned as a Product Safety Committee team member.- Can volunteer and/or be assigned to be part of the HACCP team member assists in facilitating the HACCP meetings per the requirements of the Third-Party Auditing procedures. - Work directly with other department managers to ensure production needs.- Helps ensure that the facility is kept clean and orderly, and all cleaning duties are appropriately assigned to all production personnel per SQF/HACCP standards/specifications.- Continuously improves product safety and product quality performance at the plant.- Helps ensure that all company “Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’S) are adhered to at all times.- Can volunteer and/or be assigned to be on or a back-up to any employee Safety Team.- Instruct and train employees in safety, ensure duties are performed in accordance with safety regulations, while leading by example ensuring own actions are performed in accordance with safety regulations.- Correct and report any unsafe conditions.- Follow coaching/corrective action procedures if employees engage in any unsafe acts.- Ensure that all employees always have and use proper safety equipment.- Correctly prepare reports and documentation concerning minor or major accidents- Train machine operators in the proper operation procedures on all production equipment.- Help train line workers in the proper methods of packing or palletizing production.- Train all employees in the efficient and effective methods of operations.- Informs maintenance department when production/quality cannot be met, due to equipment issues.- Ensures the production schedule is maintained with proper level of staffing.- Schedule and hold daily weekly and monthly shift production meetings. - Ensure employees can properly identify scrap or waste materials (Corrugation, resin etc.)- Ensures the proper tagging and storage of materials (regrind, waste, etc.)- Must help reduce the amount of scrap waste within the facilities. - Ensure all employees take the appropriate breaks times.- Help maintain scheduling of production to meet customer needs and maintain the lowest possible labor/overtime costs.- Maintain housekeeping schedules outlined for any and assigned areas (i.e. shop area, lunchrooms, restrooms etc.).- Help schedule and maintain appropriate manning level to meet the shifts production requirements.- Review and calculate employee timecards weekly.- Prepare and input daily production documentation/reporting into the in-house computer inventory system.- Post/maintain all employees’ attendance records, or ensures that any call-ins, scheduled absence, etc., are reported to Administrative Assistant in a timely manner.- Verify employee weekly timecards.- Help monitor vacation schedules.- Apply appropriate corrective action procedures as necessary; document any action taken, including casual discussions, which may lead to future action.- Aids Quality Assurance Department to ensure all production meets or exceeds quality standards.- Ensures all finished product, meets or exceeds customer expectations.- Assist co-workers where needed and/or be assigned additional tasks within this job classification and/or below classifications. Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED Required.- Demonstrated ability to read, write, follow verbal and written instructions in English. - Technical school or equivalent experience preferred. - 2 years supervision experience in a production facility required. - Experience and ability to train lower classification employees on all in house computer inventory systems for productions.- Must be able to prepare and analyze data and figures.- Must be experience in managing and directing employees, promoting a team atmosphere, and implementing policies. - Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 30-40 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 25-49 lbs. constantly.- Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. - Must be able to withstand the physical nature of the position to include standing, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching for long periods of time.
