Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $15.75 per hour
Hours: 5:00am-5:00pm (Fri-Sun)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Quality inspection of hoses and products - using calipers or micrometers. - Set up multiple machines and cell operations for own operation or operation by others. - Attach hoses to machine in proper way to ensure that they are formed correctly. - Hand assembly of parts (hose/tubes/clamps) using hand tools. - Follow procedures and work instructions, read blueprints and interpret shop orders. - Hand load machines already set-up and operate automated equipment. - Demonstrate aptitude to learn and operate several machines. - Follow ISO procedures and work and safety instructions. - Conduct cycle count activities as needed or directed. - Operates all measuring devices and in particular has a full understanding of the operation of the comparator, CMM and Roamer Arm. - When working within a cell, takes responsibility for the operation and ensures smooth work flow. - Work in the automatic welding department, prepping parts for the next welding cycle and taking parts off the machine. Requirements:- Ability to stand up to a 10 hour shift. - Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel part or objects and reach with hands and arms. - Occasionally required to sit, talk or hear and push or pull objects. - Frequently works near moving mechanical parts and uses repetitive motions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. - Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. - Understanding and application of basic training concepts. - Prior experience in a manufacturing setting. - Willingness to learn and work in a team environment. - Basic Math skills including fractions, and ability to read and use measuring devices, including calipers, micrometers and tape measures. Position Title: Production
Wage: $9.25 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd (Full-Time and Part-Time)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform work on the blister machines by putting the blister into the tooling, product into the blister, and cardstock on top. - Packing of product by counting number of pieces, checking for quality defects, and placing product into a bag/box/carton. - Placing product into poly bags and sealing bag with heat sealer. - General light assembly of product. - Utilizing reinforced tape dispenser to tape boxes shut. - Setting up, labeling, dotting, stamping boxes with various pieces of information.
Requirements:- Routinely required to work in an environment that produces fumes such a saw dust and glue. - Required to stand and walk more than 2/3 of the time. This position is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch more than 2/3 of the time. This position does require the individual to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Close and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus are required to perform this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.- Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, operates and shuts down manufacturing equipment.- Verifies order information, and produces part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards.- Monitors equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor; assist with routine cleaning.- Maintains proper work logs and completes required reports as necessary.- Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assembles and/or labels materials per specific production instructions.- Maintains a clean and organized work area.- Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.- Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure- Must be able to read and write English- Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Position Title: Metal Finishers
Wage: $17.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience
Shift: 1st, 2nd
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Metal Finisher at a company in Fond du Lac, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal or weld.- Use variety of methods, abrasives and tools to grind and polish materials to meet blue print and/or industry specifications. - Use tape or other materials to cover areas that do not require blasted finish.- Direct blast of abrasive laden compressed air from a nozzle against metal object to remove discoloration and provide an even finish for stainless steel parts.- Use forklift to move parts to and from fabrication shop and blast area.- Smooths surface of item to specified finish.- Polishes metal surface.- Read and interpret blueprints.- Read tape measure.
Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).- Experience with grinding or polishing a plus.- Working with metal products a plus.- Ability to read and interpret documents.- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.- Knowledge of pneumatic hand tools, metal thicknesses, RPM ratings between the tool and the wheels, stones, abrasives, etc.
