Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Wage: Based on Experience

QPS Employment Group has several great opportunities available for an Administrative Assistant at a company in Burlington, IA. This is a temp to hire position for all shifts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Manage and maintain executives' schedules. -Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. -Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. -Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email. -File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports. -Greet visitors.-Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries. -Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. -Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings. -Make travel arrangements for executives.
Requirements:-High school diploma or equivalent.-At least 6 months of previous Administrative Assistant experience.-Solid work history and a strong attention to detail.-Must pass QPS’ screening process.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Must be reliable and responsible.
Position Title: Warehouse Production
QPS Employment Group has several great opportunities available for Warehouse Production at a company in Burlington, IA. This is a temp to hire position for all shifts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Break up defective products for reprocessing. -Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. -Dump materials such as prepared ingredients into machine hoppers prior to mixing. -Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. -Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment. -Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. -Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. -Measure amounts of products, lengths of extruded articles, or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications. -Mix ingredients according to specified procedures and formulas. -Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators. -Pack and store materials and products. -Perform minor repairs to machines, such as replacing damaged or worn parts. -Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained. -Record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, and dates and times of product production. -Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines. -Separate products according to weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used to produce them.

Position Title: Welding
Wage: $12.00-$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices. - Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications. - Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components. - Set up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies. - Lay out, fit, or connect parts to be bonded, calculating production measurements as necessary.
Requirements:- Previous experience preferred- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours- Must have an attention to detail
Position Title: CDL Driver
Wage: Based on Experience
Hours: 10-12 Hour Days
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a CDL Driver at a company in Yarmouth, IA. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Responsible for the transportation of material to customers.- Provide exceptional customer service to current and potential customers.- Responsible for the filling of customer orders.- Responsible for reporting any vehicle issues to the mechanic on staff.
Requirements:- Must be able to work in outside winter temperatures.- Must be able to do winter driving, when conditions permit.- Must be able to push, pull, and drag up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.- Ability to read a map or use GPS software.- Ability to operate a manual or auto-shift transmission.- Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.- Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts 5-6 days/week
