Position Title: Human Resources Assistant – 1st Shift

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:
- Place job advertisements on job boards and company website
- Review applications and resumes, shortlist qualified candidates and coordinate interview schedules
- Assist in making job offers to selected candidates
- Coordinate and schedule drug screens and physical examinations as required
- Facilitate new hire paperwork
- Provide basic review of company policies and procedures
- Coordinate and oversee new hires' training video sessions
- Create and organize employee folders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Assist in maintaining the confidentiality and security of HR documents
- Document daily call-ins and absences
- Collaborate with supervisors to track attendance issues and prepare necessary disciplinary actions

Requirements for Human Resources Assistant:
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus
