Position Title: Logistics Coordinator - 1st Shift

Wage: $24/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am-4pm

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the supply chain department and is responsible for the shipment and delivery of goods
- Assist the logistics side of the business by managing inventory, establish and maintain communications with vendors, suppliers, brokers, and carriers involved in the shipping and delivery of the company’s product merchandise in a timely-manner
- Monitor inventory levels and warehouse material usage to develop transportation strategies
- Manage all parties involved in the transport of the product and conduct a cost analysis on all shipments
- Work with other departments and third parties to ensure all shipments are packed, sent, and delivered in a timely-manner
- Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency as needed
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Prepare and present logistics reports and other correspondence as appropriate to key stakeholders both internal and external parties as needed
- Assist with budget preparation and administration
- Build cost analysis report and work with key stakeholders to ensure cost-effectiveness measures are being placed

Logistics Coordinator Requirements:
- 1-3 year of Logistics working experience
- Systems - ERP Systems Sage and Navision
- Decision making skills
- Effective communications - verbal and written
- High level of critical thinking and problem solver
- Work in a refrigerated environment of 30ºF to 45ºF
- Work in a team environment
