Position Title: CNC Machine Operator – 2nd + 3rd Shift

Wage: $16.95 per hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm; 11:00pm-7:00am  

This company is a full-service machine shop located in Fairfield, Iowa and is hiring for a CNC Machine Operator. They have been in business for 41 years and operate out of an 88,000 square foot facility with 65 employees. This company buys aluminum ductile iron and gray iron castings and run them through CNC machines to make them into usable parts. With the way this company has grown, from 1986 and having 1 employee to now having 65, there is no stopping this company from being your forever employer until the day you decide to retire. They have even expanded the shifts available to help meet the needs of those that would prefer to be with their families during the day as well as offering more pay for the shift differential.

CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Running machine casting through varied CNC machines.
- Following instruction of each PG sheet.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Meet daily quotas.
- Adjust offsets within each machine's computer system.
- Putting each finished piece into boxes to be shipped out.

CNC Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30-40lbs repetitively.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to bend repetitively.
- Must be able to work in hot environment.
- Basic mathematic skills.
- Good mechanical skills preferred.
- Must be able to read micrometers.
- Basic computer skills and must be able to comprehend written material.
