Position Title: Shipping – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.00 - $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Shipping Responsibilities:
- Pick orders from stock or staging areas
- Package and label materials based on pick list or work order instructions
- Ensure that shipped orders meet customer needs
- Prepare shipping paperwork
- Contact freight companies to schedule shipments
- Unload or load freight from delivery vehicles
- Verify pick lists, customer orders and bills of lading information matches product
- Set up and operate equipment such as saws, drills, presses and trimmers
- Dispose of facility trash and recyclables from staging areas
- Follow safety guidelines assigned to workstation and equipment used

Requirements for Shipping:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of shipping and receiving experience in a similar role
- Forklift, reach truck and pallet jack experience preferred
- Good math skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures and calipers
- Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
