Position Title: Order Selector – Day + Night Shift

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Shift: Day, Night

Hours: 5:30am-6:00pm; 5:30pm-6:00am

Rust-Oleum Corporation has immediate openings for Experienced Orders Selectors on their night shift operation at its distribution facility in Martinsburg, WV. The Order Selector is responsible for efficiently, accurately, and safely processing customer orders. This is done in accordance with specifications on pick tickets, and by verifying and maintaining documentation on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Order Selector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using Forklift, walkie riders, and other equipment.
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Direct spouts and position receptacles, such as bins, carts, or containers so they can be loaded.
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
- Pickers are responsible for changing walkie riders' batteries.
- Forklift/Walkie rider operation is required, as well as pallet wrapping and auditing of product.

Order Selector Requirements:
- Warehouse experience- 1-3 years of solid work experience operating Walkie rider's, electric pallet jacks, Forklifts- sit down and stand-up, RF terminals, Voice to pick equipment, Copiers, Computer and applications, Labelers, Dock levelers/locks and Wrappers.
- The associate will be required to lift 7-70 lbs. throughout the day.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with voice to pick systems is helpful.
