Position Title: Shipping Coordinator

Wage: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:30am-3:30pm  

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a great Shipping Coordinator position in the Rockford area. This is a great 1st shift opportunity at a very busy, established company.

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Aid the shipping dept with ERP system Microsoft Suite.
- Will assist with shipping – staging, shipping orders, order picking, order processing, packing.
- Updating and closing orders.
- Loading/unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean working environment – picking up, sweeping, wiping down areas.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs 50/50 split office/shop floor.
- Office is in the shop, so this person needs to be okay with working on the floor and office/computer work.

Shipping Coordinator Requirements:
- Forklift exp w/ former certification a MUST.
- Able to read Micrometers a MUST.
- ERP exp a MUST.
- ERP software is Syteline - preferred (however, this software is transferable w/ training SAP, Epicor, Plex, QAD).
- Good attention to detail.
- Good handwriting and communication skills.
- Ability to work OT – company is working 10 hour shifts 5 days a week = 50 hours a week and occasional Saturdays.
