Position Title: Blasting Technician – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.95 - $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm

Blasting Technician Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean surfaces by blasting them with various types of abrasive materials such as sand, glass beads, and aluminum oxide
- Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating
- Mix and adjust the air and abrasive flow in the blasting machine
- Load and unload materials to be blasted.
- Clean and maintain the blasting equipment and related tools

Requirements for Blasting Technician:
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in blasting or related field preferred
- Knowledge of different types of abrasive materials
- Familiarity with blasting equipment and tools
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
