Customer Service/Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
- Execute commercial processes for account management, quotation preparation, order entry, order checking, shipping, and resolution of return requests and quality issues
- Assist customers, distributors and sales team with technical support requests or issues related to product selection, application and material specifications
- Develop and maintain expert level of friction material knowledge and customer applications
- Maintain detailed records of customer inquiries, market intelligence and sales opportunities in CRM
- Work to sell and secure new business with existing accounts and/or develop sales and secure new business contacts via new customer inquiries
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers
- Listen, understand and convey customer requirements through to R&D to support new product developments
- Investigate and expedite product claims and complaints in accordance with marketing policies and assist to resolve problems and recommend corrective action

Requirements for Customer Service/Sales Specialist:
- High School Diploma with an aptitude and experience in mechanical/technical fields
- Previous customer service or sales support experience
- Experience or an understanding of friction material applications such as brakes, clutches and power take off
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communications skills
- Basic math skills
- Able to work independently
