Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Wage: $18-$32+/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3pm-11:30pm

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean, lubricate, inspect, and test machinery and equipment
- Follow all plant safety rules
- Understand 480V 3 phase operation and able to run diagnostic testing
- Operate snow removal machines
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
- Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines
- Paint machines and equipment to prevent corrosion
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures
- Clean work area, tools, and equipment
- Complete all required daily paper by end of shift each day
- Perform assembly work as directed by Maintenance Supervisor
- Dismantle defective machines and install new parts
- Check vacuum pumps and air compressors that are running, wipe down as needed and mark down findings on record sheet daily
- Other related tasks as needed

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Strong electrical background (preferred)
- Some welding/fabrication experience (preferred)
- 2 years of related experience or education (preferred)
- Work overtime as needed and on-call rotating weekends
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Comfortable standing 8+ hours daily
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Lift up to 50lbs as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
