Position Title: Machine Operator - Experience Required

Wage: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm; 3:15pm-11:45pm

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Performing common types of machining such as turning, drilling, boring, facing, reaming, tapping, threading, chamfering, and deburring.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings, as necessary.
- Properly measuring final product using calipers and micrometers.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents.
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a safe, clean and workstation and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Contributes to an active, collaborative team environment by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Machine Operator Requirements:
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in math.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
