Position Title: Quality Inspector – 1st Shift

Wage: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Check parts visually and dimensionally, as detailed on the inspection methods sheets Inspect parts for adherence to product quality specifications.
- Perform floor inspections of first and subsequent piece part and/or inspection.
- Check sub and final assemblies where procedures are established and allowable variations are prescribed.
- Conduct visual inspections of purchased parts and materials to evaluate quality or performance.
- Ensure conformance with quality standards.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, test sets and gauging equipment.
- Set-up ordinary gauging and measuring devices.
- Perform job functions in a safe manner & know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures.
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
- Write work instructions and be able to read work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Quality Inspector Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and effectively communicate the English Language.
- Must be able to read and comprehend dimensional drawings.
- Must be able to use standard measuring instruments, special gauges, fixtures, templates and others in performing assigned duties.
- Ability to investigate or report questionable test results.
- Ability to reach, bend and stretch with minimal assistance and use hands to manipulate test equipment.
- Ability to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
- Acceptance of employee handbook guidelines.
