Position Title: Human Resources Assistant

Wage: $30.00 - $35.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide Human Resources support
- Review and update employee timecard punches
- Enter vacation and absence requests
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain confidential employee files
- Prepare and process of paperwork regarding temporary employees
- Facilitate visitors on-site
- Ensure PPE is on hand for employees
- Utilize Microsoft, Workday and Kronos systems
- Facilitate placement, transfer and promotion activity by maintaining headcounts, transfer logs and other HR metrics documentation
- Conduct orientations as needed
- Follow up with employees on HR related questions
- Conduct research into Human Resources programs/policies and activities and recommend changes or innovations where appropriate
- Maintain performance process to ensure employee feedback is provided
- Assist location with event planning and employee recognition

Requirements for Human Resources Assistant:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a High School Diploma with 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Strong business acumen
- Good communication skills
- Able to analyze and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
