Position Title: Production – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm

This family-oriented company in New London, WI is looking to fill a Production position sooner than later! Apply and work for a company that's donated over 200,000 pounds of cheese each year! In this 1st shift Production position, you would be responsible for operating production machines to form, fill, wrap and package process materials!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate production equipment including forming, filling, wrapping, and packaging machines to process materials
- Ensure ingredients and packaging are handled within the manufacturing facility in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and internal food safety requirements
- Complete production documentation
- Rotate through positions of processing including batching and barrel dumping
- Inspect raw cheeses
- Organize storage of ingredients and raw cheese supplies
- Complete training on hand trucks, forklifts and other power equipment
- Use cheese scale to weigh the needed amount of cheese slabs requested by each formulation
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production equipment
- Check all gaskets and O-rings for wear and replace when necessary

Requirements for Production:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Good problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include email, word processing and spreadsheets
