Position Title: Production Associate - 1st/2nd Shift

Wage: $18.65-$20.15/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 6am-2:30pm, 2:30pm-11pm

This is an associate to hire role on 1st and 2nd shifts.

As an assembler you will be working as a part of a team in the manufacturing and assembly of windows and doors. Duties include assembling an entire unit or component of a unit. While working on production line to wrap, label, and load windows and doors for delivery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Unload windows and doors from crates and carts to the machines
- Apply hardware and weather strip to vinyl frames and doors using a hand drill/tools
- Package for secure shipment all types and sizes of windows and doors
- Unload window and doors from the machine back onto a crate or cart
- Assist and remove windows and doors from the crates and carts and load them into the trucks for delivery
- Frequent use of nail guns, miter saw, drill, screw gun, caulking gun and hand tools
- Occasional use of table saws, high speed routers, shapers, and utility knives
- Operate saws to cut and trim vinyl parts to size
- Operate clamp machine to assemble metal and wood frame together
- Keep work area cleaned and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Shop floor or factory assembly experience
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 30-40lbs, and occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 75lbs working with one or more crewmembers where communication and teamwork is essential
- Occasional to frequent lifting and carrying of glass and occasional lifting and carrying of assembled windows
- Occasional to constant walking, standing, twisting, bending, and grasping with hands
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Work in hot and humid condition in the summer and cooler conditions in the winter
- Work in dusty and loud environment
