Position Title: General Labor - 2nd Shift

Wage: $15/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2pm-10pm

Responsibilities for General Labor include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the process of production and packaging
- Fill totes, supply packaging materials to the lines, salvage and rework, manual product placement, general cleaning, and move finished goods and ingredients using pallet jacks
- Familiar with Quality programs, including GMP's, code dates, HACCP), Allergens, CCP, faulty/hold process and verifying raw ingredients (training provided)
- Comply with company policies and GMP and safety rules
- Observe all safety, environmental regulations, accident prevention procedures, and food safety procedures
- Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as rubbing, binding or plugging up, and report malfunctions to the team leader or maintenance
- Enter and record data timely and accurately
- Complete sanitation as needed
- Perform routine quality checks
- Hold yourself and team members accountable
- Certified to operate a hand truck, fork/barrel truck license, operate various process equipment, calculator, telephone and scale
- Work flexible hours; overtime

Requirements for General Labor:
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for up to 12 hours
- Use hands/arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls for up to 12 hours
- Work in multiple areas of the plant and work in a cool environment (50-55 degrees)
- Lift 40-60lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Excellent vision, distant, and peripheral with the ability to identify and distinguish colors and adjust focus
