Position Title: Press Operator - 1st/3rd Shift

Wage: $15/hour, $17/hour

Shift: 1st, 3rd

Hours: 7am-3:30pm, 11pm-7am

This family-oriented company takes care of their employees! Along with paid time off after the first 30 days, they also offer monthly giveaways. This is a Press Operator position in a climate controlled environment. 1st and 3rd shifts available.

Responsibilities for the Press Operator include but are not limited to:
- Set up print jobs and the overall direction and productivity of the Digital Press Assistants
- Verify the stock, ink, and text of printed documents are correct and match the work order
- Set up, maintain, and operate press machine in accordance with GSP and industry specifications
- Set up and run a minimum of two different press types
- Monitor Digital Press Assistant for adherence to procedures
- Use PMS color matching book and densitometer to measure dot characteristics and colorspace
- Complete maintenance logs and report press downtime as required
- Maintain cleanliness of press and press area, performing basic machine maintenance

Requirements for the Press Operator:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical knowledge of print and equipment
- Background in graphic design/photography preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Stand for an entire shift
- Bend and twist
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Work alone and under minimal supervision
