Position Title: Production - 2nd Shift

Wage: $20/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 5pm-5:15am Mon-Thurs

Responsibilities for Production include but are not limited to:
- Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety for self and others into daily activities
- Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings
- Safeguard company property while maintaining acceptable level of productivity
- Pick and label door slabs in the correct order for the next day’s production via work order paperwork and handheld RF units
- Pick and unpackage glass panels in the correct order for the next day’s production via work order paperwork and handheld RF units
- Prepare door glass frames for production and stock to the production lines as needed
- Restock the production lines when needed
- Sort and move product onto racking, carts, or shuttles as directed by production paperwork while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment; including but not limited to forklifts, pallet trucks, racks, hand-held scanners, system technology, etc.
- Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort
- Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or company mission
- Manufacture, assemble, and construct various components and configurations of entrance door systems; including, but not limited to, building door jambs, assembling single, double, and sidelight entrance door systems, direct-setting glass, milling aluminum cladding, assembling overhead garage door frame kits
- Use a shop management workflow software; including hand-held scanners, to facilitate the electronic movement of work orders, inventory, and other production critical parts through the production process

Requirements for Production:
- Read a standard tape measure
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Lift and carry up to 75lbs
- Stand, walk, and bend for up to 14 hours a day
- Comfortable operating computers
