Position Title: Machine Operator/Assembly Line - 2nd Shift

Wage: $16/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:30pm-12am

Machine Operator/Assembly Line responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work on production line as a member of an assembly team
- Meet production and quality standards (individual and line)
- Rotate to different work stations or production lines on a regular basis
- Position component parts into assembly fixtures, loads, and unloads previously set-up machines to perform various operations on assembly line
- Perform equipment hacks, including poke yokes, prior to the operation of machines on production line
- Verify parts supplied to line are correct prior to beginning the assembly process
- Verify correct fixture set up prior to beginning assembly process
- Load parts and fixtures into spot welding machine
- Make required visual inspections (gauges and fixtures) in conjunction with quality check designed for each operation
- Utilize written or verbal job instructions to accomplish assembly operations of varying degrees of complexity
- Keep work are neat and orderly as to facilitate efficient work performance while maintaining safe work environment
- Run QA
- Check machine on line as requested

Machine Operator/Assembly Line requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 35lbs repetitively
- Bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
- Stand for up to 12 hours daily
- Work with small hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and associated equipment
- Quickly move hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
- Team player
- Rotate throughout production cells
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods preferred
