Position Title: Packaging Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Wage: $16.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am – 4:30pm (Monday – Thursday)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform basic meat packaging which includes monitoring bone guarding, bagging and flip-flop machines
- Assemble and replenish product specific boxes, bags and bone guard sheets
- Push button to tum on assigned machines
- Sort meat products by color and size
- Fill grinder with meat product
- Monitor products and remove foreign objects during processing and packaging
- Trim, scrape and clean meat products
- Box and palletize products
- Clean work area throughout the shift according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
 
Requirements for Packaging Machine Operator:
- Able to stand, walk, crouch, bend, push and reach throughout shift
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
