Position Title: Die Cutter – 1st Shift

Wage: $17.51/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Are you looking to find your dream job? QPS Greenfield is looking for 1st shift Die Cutters at one of our great customers in Milwaukee, WI. The Die Cutter is responsible for setting up dies and operating equipment that cuts out envelope blanks from sheet and roll paper stock. Apply today!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow job ticket and make sure die, paper type, cut out number and special instructions are consistent with the specifications outlined for the job
- Set up machines in the department which includes mounting dies, entering programs and adjusting as needed
- Facilitate basic running and preventative maintenance needs of the machines
- Operate motorized industrial vehicles and load lifting devices to transport and position raw materials
- Transport completed blanks to staging area in envelope department
- Monitor compliance with quality requirements of the raw paper, dies and envelope blanks being produced
- Stage envelope blanks on carts or skids by job with corresponding job ticket
- Place paper, cardboard, plastic and metal waste in the proper recycling receptacles
- Enter labor records into computer database using a barcode scanner, touch key pad, keyboard or mouse

Requirements:
- Able to read and understand instructions in English
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision
- Able to operate hydraulic pallet jack
- Basic math and measurement skills
