Position Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Wage: $16/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday), Overtime 6am-12pm (Friday)

Responsibilities for the Assembler include but are not limited to:
- Complete final assembly of screen doors, barn sashes, utility windows and basement windows
- Unload windows and doors from crates and carts to the machines
- Apply hardware and weather strip to vinyl frames and doors using a hand drill
- Package product for secure shipment of all types and sizes of windows and doors
- Unload window and doors from the machine back onto a crate or cart
- Use nail guns, miter saw, drill, screw gun, caulking gun and hand tools
- Operate saws to cut and trim vinyl parts to size

Requirements for the Assembler:
- High school diploma or GED
- Shop floor or factory assembly experience
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Stand, walk, bend and twist throughout shift
- Read and use a tape measure
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
