Position Title: General Labor - 1st Shift

Wage: $16.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5am-3pm Mon-Thurs, OT Fri/Sat as needed

Responsibilities for General Labor include but are not limited to:
- Load/unload material from the line in safe manner with no damage to parts while maintaining a work pace equivalent to the line speed
- Operate over-head crane after trained by client company
- Pick correct color bucket/barrel of paint for production as needed
- Place/remove plugs from materials
- Actively watch for quality issues and report any quality deviations to the supervisor immediately
- Correctly package material according to customer specifications by perform duties such as counting, stacking, bundling securing and labeling
- Locate, read, comprehend, and execute proper work instructions
- Understand Quality Management System as it relates to their job, including identifying, processing and labeling of non-conforming parts and preventative and corrective actions
- Operate small hand tools, including sander, towels and hand grinder
- Ensure work areas are accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic by maintaining a clean work area
- Establish efficient work flow based on product and task
- Efficiently use prepping and other resupplies and notify the correct person when supplies run low

Requirements for General Labor:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lift 10lb-50lbs throughout entire shift
- Occasionally reach, grip, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, and twist
- Stand for 10 hours
- Repetitive motion work
- Basic math skills
- Work individually or in a close team environment
- Knowledge of production operations and experiences in a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
