Position Title: Administrative Assistant - 1st Shift

Wage: $21.00 - $25.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm

A world leader in the development and manufacturing of electromechanical controls and hydraulic systems is looking for a 1st shift Administrative Assistant in Milwaukee, WI!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform bookkeeping functions for various accounts, which includes making deposits, typing checks, recording receipts and disbursements and reconciling bank statements
- Process mail and provide switchboard relief
- Maintain files
- Transcribe meeting minutes and reports for management meeting
- Type interim statements, other financial reports and confidential material for Corporate Controller, Division President, Chairman of the Board and President
- Process daily billing
- Provide typing/data entry support for union negotiations and contracts
- Coordinate company functions such as meetings and luncheons
- Monitor foreign travel and process U.S. passports/Visas

Requirements for Administrative Assistant:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Typing and word processing skills
- At least ten years of experience in the administrative assistant field; some college beneficial
- Experience handling and maintaining confidential information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
