Position Title: Production Line Lead – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:30am – 4:30pm (Monday – Thursday)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure safe working environment, build teamwork, increase productivity and increase employee morale in order to efficiently run production orders
- Perform daily walkthrough of the work area
- Report and investigate any accidents or near misses; implement appropriate corrective action for future prevention
- Enforce GMPs on plant premises
- Follow HACCP plans
- Ensure product quality through process improvements and training
- Analyze weekly schedules
- Provide training to the production crew
- Maintain employee performance tracking chart to ensure adequate cross training
- Produce Daily Production Reports (DPR) that include the output, efficiencies and equipment issues
- Send reports regarding any shortages and rework percentages
- Hold weekly production meetings with staff on group training topics and production goals
- Keep order fulfillment rates high through effective material and labor planning
- Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of mid-shift cleanup efforts

Requirements for Production Line Lead:
- At least two years of experience as Supervisor/Lead
- Experience in food industry
