Position Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Hours: 4pm-2:30am M-F OT during week or weekend

Responsibilities for the Machine Operator include but are not limited to:- Assemble and/or disassemble the machine according to schedules- Perform equipment start-up and shut down- Operate assigned stations and all other associated work, including preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, making minor adjustments to maintain greatest operational efficiency, assisting other operators, Q.A Work with Maintenance Department to help troubleshooting the machine- Understand and follow production schedule in a timely manner- Perform best practice quality checks- Watch for defective materials- Ensure final product is meeting specifications- Perform any other related work in accordance with line quality- Manually record all data as required (quality and production checks)- Clean and sanitation of all equipment and facility as required- Perform basic machine troubleshooting- Follow GMP’s and safety procedures at all times- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the company procedures, rules, and regulations- Report any issues to the Production Team Leader- Submit completed paperwork in a timely manner- Comprehensive knowledge of general food safety program best practices and must be highly proficient in ability to document and work within GMP’s, HACCP, HACQP, and SQF- Comply with all company rules, regulations, and policies Individual will be subject coproduction warehouse environment
Requirements for the Machine Operator:- Walk for extended periods, stand and reach with hands or arms- Work in a cold environment (38-40 F)- Use hands to find, handle, touch, and manipulate items- Vision abilities to include proximate vision, color vision, and adjust focus; able to effectively see and process computer generated images on a screen- Able to work overtime and/or weekends
