Position Title: Production Operator (Forklift Driver) – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Thurs)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Uses Forklift to move raw materials and finished goods around the plant and on/off semi-trailers.
- Unload materials from semi-trailers to inventory store by forklift; load materials onto production conveyors and prepare materials for production.
- Loads pallets of finished goods onto semi-trailers by forklift.
- Maintain and repair wooden pallets.
- Ensure that the correct product is loaded.
- Prepare, clean, secure, and load palletizer to palletize product for shipping.
- Maintain and operate production equipment.
- Perform daily product testing and production checks.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and accurately, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide counts and other record-keeping functions as needed.
- Fill in other warehouse functions as needed and assist with daily shut down of production, including daily production line maintenance.
- Keep warehouse neat and organized; assists with trailer cleaning as needed.
- Help with other warehouse functions as needed including repositioning of semi-trailers.

- Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Must be able to perform math functions (addition, division, multiplication, subtraction) accurately.
- Must maintain a high level of accuracy\Must be able to pass both a written and driving forklift exam and drive a forklift safely.
- Must comply and ensure compliance with all safety, OSHA, FSMA and company policies.
- 3-5 years of forklift experience preferred.
- 1-2 year’s previous warehouse experience preferred.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Comfort with basic math.
