Position Title: Welder – 3rd Shift

Wage: $20.70/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 8:30pm – 5:00am (Monday – Thursday), 6:30pm – 5:00am (Friday)

A family-owned company in Machesney Park, IL that has been in the market since 1950 is looking for experienced welders to continue their career and help with the continuous grow of the company. Apply to this 3rd shift Welder role today!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble and tack weld parts in place
- Read tape measure
- Test products
- Weld galvanized and stainless steel

Requirements for Welder:
- Welding certification to AWS 1.1 or 1.3 desirable
- Able to read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Able to use weld gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances
- Able to weld parts in horizontal and vertical positions
- Able to operate forklifts, hand tools and power tools
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand for duration of shift
