Position Title: Machine Operator - 1st/2nd Shift

Wage: $15.50/hour, $16.25/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd

Hours: 6am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-1am

Responsibilities for the Machine Operator include but are not limited to:
- Open equipment in accordance with procedures to ensure optimum product quality
- General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures
- May operate equipment such as, but not limited to, the Pre-Expander, Mold, Lamination Line, Block - Auto Line, etc.
- Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, operate, and shut down manufacturing equipment
- Perform job duties in a manner that follows all safety guidelines, including but not limited to proper lifting techniques, use of required PPE, Lockout/Tagout, etc.; report all unsafe conditions and behaviors to supervisor
- Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor; assist with routine cleaning
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment settings
- Maintain proper work logs and complete required reports as necessary

Requirements for the Machine Operator:
- High school or GED
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, grip, reach, push, and pull with both hands
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Read and write English
- Stand for 8+ hours per day
- Perform fast-paced, repetitive work, while staying focused on quality
- Adhere to attendance policies and procedures
- Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare production worksheets
