Position Title: Quality Technician – 3rd Shift

Wage: $19.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Sunday – Thursday)

QPS Greenfield is looking for a direct hire Quality Technician candidate on 3rd shift for one of our great customers in Milwaukee WI. Apply now!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Utilize micrometers, calipers and gauges to assess quality of product
- Create process control documents such as routings, inspection instructions, visual standards, and customer sample submissions
- Perform process capability studies and report results
- Calibrate measurement equipment
- Report quality issues including customer complaints and participate in resolution
- Maintain accurate records and enter information into appropriate databases
- Perform audits and train operators in quality related methods or procedures as needed
- Inspect product, raw materials and components using various laboratory procedures and report results

Requirements for Quality Technician:
- At least two years of experience in manufacturing quality control, including utilization of calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Basic understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) preferred
- Able to read blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
