Position Title: Screw Machine Operator – 1st or 2nd Shift

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Thursday) or 3:50pm – 3:05am (Monday – Wednesday), 3:50pm – 10:05pm (Thursday)

Our company in Menomonee Falls, WI focuses of precision machining offering a plethora of options for our customers, and we are currently looking for a 1st shift Screw Machine Operator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, number of parts to be machined and tooling instructions as cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts and cutting tools to be used
- Position and secure specified collets, bushings and stock pushers onto stock feeding mechanism and load bar stock into feeding mechanism
- Install and adjust specified cams, gears and stops to control stock and tool movements at each station
- Position and secure tools in tool holders
- Set cutting speeds and feed rates
- Move controls to cycle machine through settings

Requirements for Screw Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to read dial micrometers prints
- Basic math skills
- Able to write, read and comprehend simple instructions and/or correspondence
