Position Title: Assembly – 1st Shift

Wage: $17.50/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am – 3:30pm

QPS is looking for a 1st shift Heavy Manifold Assembler in Vernon Hills, IL! Candidates that describe themselves as autonomous, able to work with minimal direction and good at leading others are encouraged to apply today!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with team members to complete tasks in the assembly process which could include prepping, deburring, power washing, SAE installation, expander plug installation, valve assembly, testing, fitting installation, verification and packaging
- Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards
- Read blueprints, instruction sheets, PCP’s and other vital production documents
- Log information on log sheets
- Set up gauges, scanners and other equipment as required for assembly purposes
- Prepare parts for next step in production

Requirements for Heavy Manifold Assembly:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus
- Able to work in a team
- Able to work with manual and power tools
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Basic math skills
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Able to multi-task
