Position Title: Fabrication Helper – 1st Shift

Wage: $15.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am – 3:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Fabrication Helper at a company in Fall River, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist other machine operators with fabrication duties
- Unload materials, parts or products onto or from lasers, pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks
- Identify each load with the job number
- Load fabricated parts into tumbler and remove them after a designated time period
- Apply rust preventative to fabricated parts
- Remove burrs or excess metal from fabricated parts
- Plan assembly procedures following specifications
- Drill, tap or ream holes
- Align components and bolt, screw or rivet them together
- Assist in testing operation of completed product

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to stand, bend, twist, kneel and reach throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to read and comprehend memos, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
