Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assemble parts, subassemblies, and assemblies per specifications. - Operate forklift and overhead hoists to transport or position large/heavy components. Understand and apply rigging principles "only after completing training". - Properly use stationary power tools, portable power tools, and small hand tools (drill, tap, torque, torque monitoring, rivet, hammer, ream, saw, cut, grind, countersink, and similar processes). - Inspect, verify, and adjust components as well as completed units to ensure conformance to all specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. - Rework, repair, and replace damaged components or assemblies. Complete and submit applicable documentation. - Appropriately use solvents, cleaners, adhesives, lubricants, and touchup paint as directed. - Train coworkers (new hires, personnel from other departments, temporary employees) as required. Requirements:- Ability to reach, push, pull, climb, and work at various heights. - Ability to work in constricted spaces. - Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. - High/finger dexterity to grasp and manipulate small parts and tools. - Hand/eye coordination. - Ability to recognize colors as well as see clearly at a distance and up close. - Stamina to work 10 to 12 hour shifts plus overtime. - High School diploma, GED or equivalent. - Knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
