Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Interested in making an impact in the supply chain of a large retail chain in the Midwest? Do you enjoy working in a warehouse environment? Then we have the job for you! This current position that we are recruiting for is a Warehouse Associate position that is primarily responsible in completing a variety of tasks to identify product, pick it, stage it, and have it distributed to stores.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Pick order from assignments, scan, and sticker- Bring empty pallet to area and transfer orders among pallets- Move product to staging areas and to belts- Scan licenses with RF scanner and affix license to product- Scan and put orders away- Transfer product from pallet to pallet to be scanned- Move pallet to staging wall with hand pallet jack- Replenish by taking product to other areas in the warehouse- Potential to be trained and certified on forklift, manup, and double pallet riders; if certified, then drive power industrial truck to take completed pallets to loading docks; change LP tank or batteries as needed- Wrap completed pallets with shrink wrap (either manually or with machine) and scan- Load or unload product on to trailers- Check in defects- Input correct locations in return goods- Pull crate, if full then complete paperwork associated with it; package and reshelf- Complete paperwork verification for stock lift and begin check in process; move to shelving areas for recalls- Receive seasonal or bulk items from warehouse; use RF scanner to scan and then put in appropriate area- Clean work area, ball up plastic, break down cardboard and take to tote- Demonstrate awareness and compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and/or procedures
Requirements:- Must be able to stand for entire shift 8-10 hours - Must be able to lift up to 30-40 lbs. repetitively, and up to 60 lbs. rarely - Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. rarely (team lift) - Must be able to feel comfortable working at heights if trained/certified to operate manups - Must be able to twist, bend, and stoop on a repetitive basis - Ability to learn internal software program and update inventory scanning devices and computers- Ability to learn to operate and safely utilize a variety of warehouse lift and product moving equipment- Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and coworkers- Ability to work as a team member and to work under specific instructions=
