The Future of ACA

Now that the required reporting has been completed and 1095-Cs have been distributed, we look to the future and cannot help but wonder if this particular reporting requirement will stay the same, or if it will repealed. We, along with many other employers, also wonder about other unresolved items such as nondiscrimination testing, the definition of full-time employee, and how exactly the notices of subsidy eligibility and employer appeals process will work. Certainly the 2016 presidential election will have a major impact on the direction of the Affordable Care Act’s future. For now, QPS is moving forward with our strategy and planning for 2017 so that we can continue to offer an affordable option which provides a real value for our temporary workforce.
