Case Study 3 - Plant Expansion

Situation

A large customer was looking to expand their plant to meet recent demands and needed to quickly increase staffing levels in all areas.

Solution

QPS developed the following plan to satisfy the staffing needs:

  • Recruiting - Through online campaigns, grass roots efforts, and referrals, we were able to generate interest and a large pool of applicants to choose from.
  • Selection - We wanted to be sure the candidates placed were the right fit, so after a first interview at our branch office, the applicants were set up for a tour at the company led by a QPS internal employee.  After feedback from the company, new applicants were selected to start.
  • First Day - As new employees started, QPS provided an onsite representative who handled orientations, future employee tours and interviews, and managed daily attendance, employee payroll, as well as other personnel issues as they arose.

Due to our recruiting efforts, the client ended up hiring a great majority of the employees that were sourced, oriented, and placed by QPS.  The plant expansion went smoothly and many of these same employees have moved into supervisory roles and now use QPS for their own staffing needs.
