QPS Employment Group, a Wisconsin-based staffing and recruiting firm, has hired Kathryn Bernard, Esquire, as their corporate legal counsel. The position was vacated by Neil Wojtal, who recently retired from QPS.
Bernard has over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, most recently with Staffmark Holdings as their executive vice president and general counsel.
“Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge to QPS,” said Ryan Festerling, president and chief operating officer of QPS Employment Group. “Her experience in contracts, risk management, insurance, litigation and mergers and acquisitions make her a perfect fit for QPS.”
Bernard has been a national speaker at American Staffing Association forums as well as a national speaker at NAPEO and NSA. She has advised and contributed in crafting legislation vital to the staffing industry.
QPS has 55 locations throughout the Midwest. It ranks #23 on the list of largest US industrial staffing firms and is the 79th largest staffing firm in the US, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
