QPS Employment Group, a Wisconsin-based staffing and recruiting firm, has added to their leadership team. Laura Cole has been hired as executive vice president of branch operations.
Cole has 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, starting her career as an internal associate employee with Kelly Services in 2000. Over the years, Laura has accepted roles with increased responsibility having experienced both operations and sales responsibilities.
Since 2007, Cole had been with Staffmark and most recently held the position of senior vice president of field operations overseeing the East Business Unit.
“Laura brings a unique outside perspective with her but like many others in our management team here at QPS, Laura also worked her way up from recruiter to leadership,” said Ryan Festerling, president and chief operating officer of QPS Employment Group. “Her experience in both growing teams and establishing consistent practices was important to us. More importantly, Laura is just a great cultural fit for QPS representing the beliefs of our organization.”
With this new position, Cole will be relocating to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cole replaces Steve Waller, who retired after 26 years with QPS earlier this year.
