The application process can be daunting whether you're looking for your first job or you’re taking next step in your career. With so many options in so many places it is hard to figure out where to start. That is where QPS comes in to make this transition of finding work both quick and easy. By working with companies to get the right people into the right jobs, we provide great access to a number of positions in a wide variety of industries all across the Midwest. Here is the step-by-step process on how to apply through QPS.
Step 1: Visit our Website
All of our current openings will be posted on the QPS website. In order to find these openings, you will enter the type of work and/or the job location in the “Looking for Work?” box on the homepage. Once you have entered in the keyword(s) and/or location, the job openings will appear and the relief will set in that there is a job out there for you. Additionally, if you are not seeking a specific position but would like to get into the system for use at a later date, you can press the “Apply Now” button on the homepage and set yourself up for future opportunities.

Step 2: Look Through Results
The next step is to look through the positions and figure out which one fits your needs and wants. The amount of jobs that populate vary significantly based on the criteria you have entered in. For some searches you may receive a couple positions while on others you may receive a couple hundred. So regardless of where you are in the job search process, remember to take your time and be thorough as there are a lot of jobs out there and you don’t want to miss out on the perfect one.
Step 3: Apply for Work
Hopefully after searching, you found the perfect job and now are ready begin the application process for it. At the bottom of the job description, click on the “Apply Now” button and you will be taken to the QPS Portal. Here you will either create an account or sign in if you are a returning applicant. If you are new to QPS, you will enter in a variety of information from your basic contact info to a detailed employment history all in an effort to provide our recruiters with a better understanding of your fit with the position. For future reference, it is important that the application stays updated for the reasons discussed here. Once the information is filled out and the application is complete, you will be contacted by one of our recruiters and they will determine the next phase in landing your perfect job.
